2005 State Wars I

In 2005, the inaugural State Wars Hockey event was held at the Edge Arena in Bensenville Illinois from August 5-14.  192 state teams participated this first year, blowing away expectations in the first year with an entirely new concept to the roller hockey scene.  25 state champions were crowned this first year in the AAA and AA divisions, with California leading the pack with 7 championships.
